The parallel vertical ridges across this surface operate with the same spatial logic as classical column fluting — consistently spaced, running without interruption from the scalloped upper edge to the lower field, dividing the surface into a repeated sequence of raised and recessed registers. Botanical silk woven into the hand knotted New Zealand wool construction gives the raised portions a slightly warmer luster than the recessed furrows beside them, making the relief legible as light rather than line. At 8–12 mm thickness, the physical body of the piece supports that reading with genuine tactile weight.

Vacuum once a week. Gently brush surface to remove dust. Blot with paper & remove spills immediately. Use professional carpet cleaning services only.
