Fibres & Techniques
Every rug is handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques. We source fibres responsibly and work with suppliers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. From handspun yarns to varied knotting and weaving methods, each rug develops its own unique texture and character.
Fibres

New Zealand Wool
This wool is sourced from sheep raised in New Zealand’s pristine landscapes, with exceptional softness, resilience, and natural stain resistance; its undyed, earthy palette will enhance layered textures.

Botanical Silk
Prized for its softness, luminous sheen, and strength, botanical silk features prism-like fibres that reflect light and enhance colour, making it ideal for low-traffic areas or as a radiant accent.

Jute
Handwoven from Cannabis sativa, jute is a strong, time-honoured fibre that brings organic texture, subtle sheen, and sustainable elegance to rug design.

Malaysian Cotton
Prized for softness, breathability, and strength, high-quality malaysian cotton is spun and meticulously finished to reveal a supple texture and subtle sheen that define the polished fibre.
Techniques

Hand Tufted
Hand Tufting employs a handheld tool to swiftly insert yarn into the canvas, enabling artisans to create bold patterns, varied pile heights, and rich textures resulting in dynamic, tactile rugs.
